Instructions

Main Part

Cast on 308 sts with knitting needles 3.5 and work with the main pattern.

Knit 118 rows, mark the 85^th and 225^th sts. Decrease and increase sts according to the scheme. Only RS rows are stated on the scheme. Start making decreases for armholes from the 242^nd row. For this, divide your work into 3 parts from the center of increases, separating 76 sts for each half of the front and 114 sts for the back. Start work separately from the right front. For the armhole, bind off: 1 x 6 sts, 2 x 3 sts, 5 x 2 sts, 2 x 2 sts. For armhole widening, increase 1 st in the 271^st and 275^th rows. For the neck-hole, starting from the 281^st row bind off: 1 x 5 sts, 1 x 4 sts, 2 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts, 3 x 1 st. For the shoulder line, starting from the 291^st row, bind off 5 x 6 sts, 1 x 4 sts.

Then, start making the back. For the armhole, decrease: 5 x 2 sts, 3 x 1 st, 2 x 1 st in a RS row. For the neck-hole line, starting from the 291^st row, bind off: 5 x 6 sts, 1 x 4 sts. Make the left front in reflection to the right front.

Sleeves

Cast on 60 sts with knitting needles 3.5 and work with the main pattern. For sleeve widening, increase 1 st in every 6^th row. Totally, make 20 increases. Starting from the 127^th row, start making sleeve caps. To do this, decrease: 4 x 3 sts, 3 x 2 sts, 5 x 1 st, 3 x 1 st in a RS row, 1 x 1 st, 2 x 2 sts, 2 x 3 sts, 3 x 4 sts, and 1 x 3 sts.

Assembly

Sew shoulder, side, and sleeve seams. Sew up the sleeves. Cast on 90 sts along the neck-hole and work with the main pattern with knitting needles 3.5 for 5 rows, with knitting needles 3 for 4 rows, with knitting needles 2.5 for 10 rows, with knitting needles 3 for 4 rows, and with knitting needles 3.5 for 5 rows. Fold the collar in half and join it from WS with the help of Kitchener’s stitch.

Placket for Buttons

Make 21 double crochets along the left front with crochet hook 3.5. Totally, crochet 13 rows. Make 210 double crochets along the right front with crochet hook 3.5. Totally, make 6 rows. In the next row: 3 double crochets, 3 chain sts, *14 double crochets, 3 chain sts*; repeat from * to * x 9 times, then add 51 double crochets. Make 6 rows of 210 double crochets in each row.

Belt

Make a chain of 240 cm long, turn your work, and make 13 rows of double crochets.
