Special Stitch

Daisy: insert needle in loop 3 rows below the 2nd st on left needle, draw up a loop, K2, draw 2nd loop through same st, k2, draw 3rd loop through same st.

The quantity of sts is multiple 10 + 8.

1st, 3rd, and 5th rows: Knit;

2nd, 4th, and 6th rows: Purl;

7th row: 2 knit sts, daisy, * 6 knit sts, daisy*; repeat from * to *, 2 knit sts;

8th row: 2 purls, * (purl2tog, 1 purl) x twice, purl2tog, 5 purls*; repeat from * to *, (purl2tog, 1 purl) x twice, purl2tog, 1 purl;

9th, 11th and 13th rows: knit;

10th, 12th and 14th rows: purl;

15th row: 6 knit sts, * 1 knit st, daisy, 5 knit sts*; repeat from * to *, 2 knit sts;

16th row: 2 purls, * 5 purls, (purl2tog, 1 purl) x twice*; repeat from * to *, 6 purls.
