Materials Used
- 5mm crochet hook
- Worsted weight yarn: 100% acrylic – white, yellow, green, dark green (about 350 grams for the sample)
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
Note: I used chainless starting dc/tr for every first dc/tr of each round instead of ch 3/ch 4. Another good crochet technique is ch 2/ch 3, dc/tr into the same stitch (counted as 1st dc/tr). In the pattern below, you’ll see I simply state dc/tr for every first dc/tr of each round, so just choose your best technique.
Special Stitch Used
Picot stitch: (sc, ch3, sc) into the same stitch.
You can use any hook size for this Crochet Wild Daisies Baby Blanket pattern, just choose a yarn type that matches. Steam block your finished project.

Make 9 squares; now it’s time to join them. There are many ways to join crochet motifs, and you can pick any method you want. I used the single crochet seam method and dark green yarn to join the squares.
Using green color yarn, crochet border around with sc (make 3 sc into each corner).
Crochet Edging
(1 picot stitch, skip next stitch) repeat around (fasten off, weave in ends).
