You’ll need:

400g of grey-green yarn (45% wool, 55 acryl; 250m/100g);

Knitting needles 3;

3 buttons.

Size: S.

Used Patterns

Pearled pattern: 1^st row: knit st, purl;

2^nd row: purls above knit sts, knit sts above purls.

Repeat 1^st-2^nd rows.

Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls.

Cable pattern: due to the scheme. Both RS and WS rows are stated on the scheme.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 97 sts + 2 selvage sts, make 1^st row as knit sts. Then, make 3 cm of pearled pattern. Continue work with stockinette stitch. Decrease 1 st in every 9^th row from each side. In 31 cm from the set-up row, finish decreases, then, continue work with pearled pattern for 10 cm straight. For arm-holes, decrease 1 x 4 sts, 2 x 1 st from both sides. In 58 cm from the set-up row, finish your work.

Front

Make 2 halves. Cast on 46 sts + 2 selvage sts and make 31 cm in the same way, as for back. Then, divide the sts of front into 3 parts, start making cable due to the scheme on the central half, continue work with stockinette stitch from both sides. In 41 cm from the set-up row, decrease 1 x 4 sts, 2 x 1 st. In 50 cm from the set-up row, decrease 1 x 4 sts, 1 x 2 sts and 8 x 1 st in every 2^nd row for neck-hole. In 58 cm from the set-up row, finish your work. Make another half in symmetry.

Sleeves

Cast on 73 sts + 2 selvage sts, make the 1^st row with knit sts, then, make 3 cm of pearled pattern, then, continue work with stockinette stitch. Decrease 7 x 1 st in every 3^rd row from each side. In 15 cmallthedecreasesshouldbefinished. At this height, divide your work into 3 parts and continue work with cable pattern on the central half, continue work with stockinette stitch from both sides. In 34 cm from the set-up row, decrease 1 x 4 sts, 1 x 2 sts in every 2^nd row from both sides for sleeve caps and arm-holes, then, bind off 6 x 1 st in every 3^rd row, then, 8 x 1 st in every row. Bind off the rest sts.

Assembly

Make placket with pearled pattern: 2 plackets for front 3 cm wide and 50 cm long, for neck-hole – 1 placket of 3,5 cm wide and 48-50 cm long. Make all the seams. Sew up the sleeves. Sew plackets and buttons.
