You’ll Need

250; 275; 300; 350; 400g of yarn (65% polyamide, 35% polyester; 145m/25g);

Contrast yarn;

Knitting needles 3; 3.5; 4 and 4.5;

Auxiliary needle.

Size

XS; S; M; L; XL.

Used Patterns

1 x 1 rib;

Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit stitches, in WS row – purls;

Central part with cables: follow the scheme;

Relief pattern: the quantity of stitches is even:

  • 1st row (RS): 1 knit stitch, *1 yarn over, knit two together*; repeat from * to * to the last stitch, 1 knit stitch;
  • 2nd and 4th rows: purl;
  • 3rd row: 2 knit stitches, *1 yarn over, knit two together*; repeat from * to * to the last 2 stitches, 2 knit stitches.
  • Repeat 1st to 4th rows.

Stitches Control

Stockinette stitch with 2 threads of yarn and knitting needles 4.5: 20 stitches x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Relief pattern with 1 thread of yarn and knitting needles 3.5: 26 stitches x 48 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

44 stitches of the central part with cables of back and front with 2 threads of yarn and knitting needles 4.5 = 13 cm.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 104; 110; 118; 126; 138 stitches with 2 threads of yarn and knitting needles 4 and make 1 x 1 rib for 6 cm height. Continue work with the central part with cables and knitting needles 4.5; divide the stitches: 30; 33; 37; 41; 47 stitches of stockinette stitch, 44 stitches with the central part with cables, 30; 33; 37; 41; 47 stitches of stockinette stitch.

Bind off 2 x 1 stitch from both sides in every 34th row. There are 100; 106; 114; 122; 134 stitches left. At 32 cm (102 rows) height from rib, form raglan, bind off 1 x 3 stitches from both sides. Then:

  • Size XS: *in every 2nd row – 3 x 1 stitch, in 4 rows, 1 x 1 stitch*; repeat from * to * x 6 times;
  • Size S: *in every 2nd row – 6 x 1 stitch, in 4 rows – 1 x 1 stitch*; repeat from * to * x 3 times, in every 2nd row – 6 x 1 stitch;
  • Size M: *in every 2nd row – 29 x 1 stitch, in every 4th row – 2 x 1 stitch;
  • Size L: *in every 2nd row – 8 x 1 stitch and 1 x 2 stitches*; repeat from * to * x 3 times, 2 x 1 stitch, in every 4th row – 2 x 1 stitch;
  • Size XL: *in every 2nd row – 3 x 1 stitch and 1 x 2 stitches*; repeat from * to * x 7 times, 3 x 1 stitch, in every 4th row = 2 x 1 stitch.

At 51 cm (164 rows); 52 cm (166 rows); 53 cm (170 rows); 54 cm (172 rows); 55 cm (176 rows) from rib, bind off the remaining 46; 46; 46; 48; 48 stitches.

Front

Make in the same way as back. At 32 cm (102 rows) from rib, form raglan, bind off 1 x 3 stitches from both sides. Then:

  • Size XS: *in every 2nd row – 3 x 1 stitch, in 4 rows, 1 x 1 stitch*; repeat from * to * x 4 times;
  • Size S: *in every 2nd row – 6 x 1 stitch, in 4 rows – 1 x 1 stitch*; repeat from * to * x twice, in every 2nd row – 5 x 1 stitch;
  • Size M: *in every 2nd row – 23 x 1 stitch;
  • Size L: *in every 2nd row – 8 x 1 stitch and 1 x 2 stitches*; repeat from * to * x twice, 2 x 1 stitch, 6 x 1 stitch;
  • Size XL: *in every 2nd row – 3 x 1 stitch and 1 x 2 stitches*; repeat from * to * x 6 times, 2 x 1 stitch.

At the same time, at 41 cm (132 rows); 42 cm (134 rows); 43 cm (138 rows); 44 cm (140 rows); 45 cm (144 rows) from rib, form neck-hole, bind off the central 20; 20; 20; 22; 22 stitches. Then, continue work, bind off along the inwards edge in every 2nd row – 1 x 5 stitches, 2 x 4 stitches, 1 x 3 stitches, 1 x 2 stitches.

At 45 cm (144 rows); 46 cm (146 rows); 47 cm (150 rows); 48 cm (152 rows); 49 cm (156 rows) from rib, bind off the remaining 3 stitches. Make the second part reflecting the first.

Right Sleeve

Cast on 76; 84; 94; 104; 120 stitches with 1 thread of yarn and knitting needles 3 and make 1 x 1 rib for 3 cm. Then, switch to knitting needles 3.5 and work on the relief pattern. At 2 cm height from rib, form raglan, bind off 1 x 3 stitches from each side; then:

  • Size XS: *in every 4th row – 3 x 1 stitch, in 2 rows, 1 x 1 stitch*; repeat from * to * x 4 times, in every 4th row – 2 x 1 stitch;
  • Size S: in every 4th row – 4 x 1 stitch, *in 2 rows – 1 x 1 stitch, in 4 rows – 1 x 1 stitch*; repeat from * to * x 9 times;
  • Size M: *in every 2nd row – 7 x 1 stitch, in 4 rows – 1 x 1 stitch, in 2 rows – 1 x 1 stitch*; repeat from * to * x 10 times;
  • Size L: *in every 2nd row – 3 x 1 stitch and 1 x 2 stitches, in 4 rows – 1 x 1 stitch*; repeat from * to * x 8 times;
  • Size XL: *in every 2nd row – 19 x 1 stitch, in 4 rows – 1 x 1 stitch*; repeat from * to * x twice.

At 22; 23; 24; 25; 26 cm from rib, bind off the remaining 3 stitches.

Left Sleeve

In reflection to the right sleeve.

Neck-Hole Fringe

Cast on 180; 180; 180; 184; 184 stitches with knitting needles 4 and make 2 cm of 1 x 1 rib. Then, make 1 row of knit stitches and 1 row of contrast color yarn on RS.

Assembly

Sew the sleeves along the raglan line. Sew sides and sleeves together. Sew the fringe to the neck-hole line.
