This stitch pattern is very tight, but it isn't rough. It's perfect for such clothing as jackets, skirts, shawls, etc. Also, it's very simple.

The quantity of stitches is multiplied by 2 + 1 stitch for symmetry + 2 chain stitches increase.

Stitch Instructions

1st Row

2 chain stitches, *1 single crochet + 1 double crochet in the 3rd stitch, skip 1 stitch*; repeat from * to *, finish with 1 double crochet;

2nd Row

2 chain stitches increase, *1 single crochet + 1 double crochet in the double crochet of the previous row*; repeat from * to *, finish with 1 single crochet.

Repeat the 2nd row.
