Finishing Touches
Starting at one end, insert a drawstring and take it all the way around the circumference of the bag, weaving it in and out of spaces in the border and bring it to the same space where you started. Insert the other string through a space at the other end and bring it to the starting point. Hold both ends of a drawstring together and insert a bead through both ends. Make a knot below the bead and cut off the excess yarn at the ends. Repeat for the other string.
Tips & Care
- Use a stitch marker to mark the beginning of rounds for easier counting and joining.
- Swap yarn colours or beads to customize the pouch for gifting or seasonal themes.
- To care for your pouch, hand wash gently and lay flat to dry to maintain shape.
- Weave in ends securely and trim close to knots to avoid bulk around the border and drawstring openings.
