Special Stitches

• FPtr

  - Yarn over twice. Insert your hook from the front around the back of the post of the current stitch and back around to the front. Yarn over and pull through. (Yarn over and pull through 2 loops)x3.

• FPtr2tog

  - Yarn over twice. Insert your hook from the front around the back of the post of the designated stitch. Yarn over and pull through. (Yarn over and pull through 2 loops)x2. Yarn over twice. Insert your hook from the front around the back of the post of the next stitch. Yarn over and pull through. (Yarn over and pull through 2 loops)x2. Yarn over and pull through the remaining 3 loops on your hook.

• BPtr

  - Yarn over twice. Insert your hook from the back around the front of the post of the current stitch and back around to the back. Yarn over and pull through. (Yarn over and pull through 2 loops)x3.

• Puff

  - (Yarn over, insert your hook into the designated stitch. Pull up a loop.)x3 Yarn over and pull through all 7 loops on your hook. Ch 1.

• Modified Double Crochet

  - Pull the loop on your hook up so it is about the same height as a normal dc. Holding the loop on your hook with your finger, wrap the extended loop you made around your hook. This will create 2 loops on your hook. Insert your hook into the stitch right below where you pulled up the extended loop. Yarn over, pull through. You will have 3 loops on your hook. Yarn over, pull through 2 loops. Yarn over, pull through the last two loops.

• Ch 1 after puff is to close the puff and does not count as an actual stitch.
