100g ball of Stylecraft Special Aran yarn in colour 1
Small amounts of Stylecraft Special Aran yarn in each of colours 2 & 3
5.00mm & 5.50mm crochet hooks, faux fur pom-pom

UK INSTRUCTIONS:
With colour 1 and 5.00mm hook make 20ch, 1dc into 2nd ch from hook, 1dc into each ch to end. Turn. (19dc)
2nd Row – Working through BLO make 1ch, work 1dc into the stitch at the base of the 1ch, 1dc into each dc to end. Turn.
Rpt 2nd Row until work measures approx 18 inches from beginning or you have worked approx 78 rows. Turn.
Fold your work in half widthways and slip stitch the last row you just worked and the starting chain edge together to make a round. DNFO.
Change to 5.50mm hook, work 1dc into each row end to end, ss to first dc. Turn (78dc)
Second Row – 1ch, 1dc into the stitch at the base of the 1ch, miss 2dc, work 5tr into next dc, * miss 2dc, 1dc into next dc, miss 2dc, work 5tr into next dc, * rpt from * to * last 2dc, miss 2dc, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn. (13 Shell Groups)
