Instructions

Front

Ch 4, join with sl St to form ring.

Rnd 1: Ch 3, 11 more dc in ring. Join with sl St to beg ch 3 (12 dc).

Rnd 2: Ch 3, dc in same St as joining. 2 dc in each remaining St around. Join with sl St to beg ch 3 (24 dc).

Rnd 3: Ch 3, dc in same St as joining. Dc in next St. (2 dc in next St, dc in next St) around. Join with sl St to beg ch 3 (36 dc).

Rnd 4: Ch 1, SC in same St as joining. *Ch 6, sk next St, SC in next St. Rep from * around. Join with sl St in first SC (18 ch 6 loops). Fasten off and weave in ends.

Back

Ch 4, join with sl St to form ring.

Rnd 1-3: Repeat rounds 1-3 of front.

Rnd 4: Ch 3, dc in same St as joining. Dc in each of the next 2 dc. (2 dc in next St, dc in each of the next 2 sts) around. Join with sl St to beg ch 3 (48 dc).

Rnd 5: Ch 1, 2 SC in same St as joining. Sc in next 3 sts. (2 SC in next St, SC in next 3 sts) around. Join with sl St in first SC (60 SC). Fasten off. Weave in ends.

Joining

With wrong sides together, join with sl St in any SC of back piece, working thru ch 6 loop of front, ch 1, SC thru both pieces. *Sc in next 2 SC of back piece only. Sc in next SC of back and next ch 6 loop together. SC in next 3 SC of back, SC in next SC of back and next ch 6 loop together. Rep from * around. Join with sl St in first SC.

Edging

Ch 1, SC in same St as joining. Sk next St, (2 dc, ch 2, SC) in next St. *Sk next 2 St, (2 dc, ch 2, SC) in next St. Rep from * around. Join with sl St to first SC. Fasten off and weave in ends.
