Sc in each sc across. Ch 1, turn. (29 sc)

Sc in each sc across. Fasten off, leaving a 12” tail for sewing squares together. (29 sc)
Finishing
Using a tapestry needle, sew squares together following the photo. Weave in ends.

Using Lilac and beginning in a corner stitch, work 121 hdc evenly around each side of the blanket as follows: 3 hdc in each corner, 29 hdc on the side of each square, and 1 hdc in each of the three joins. See diagram below.
