- Red Heart Comfort in Indigo, Papaya, Jade, and Hot Pink
- J/6.00mm hook
- Scissors and Tapestry needle
Notes
Any worsted weight yarn will work for this blanket. I used roughly half of each Red Heart Comfort skein to make my blanket.
Use a multiple of 6 + 2 for the beginning chain if you want to make a different size.
Order of yarn color: blue, orange, green, pink.
The beginning chain of each row does not count as a stitch.
Dimensions: 50” x 52”
Gauge: 2” = 6 single crochets across

Pattern
*Change colors every 2 rows.
Row 1: Ch 152, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, turn.
Row 2: Ch 1, sc, *hdc, dc, 3tr in next st, dc, hdc, sc, repeat from *, turn.
Row 3: Ch 1, sc2tog over next 2 st, sc in next 2 st, *3sc in next st, sc in next 2 st, sc3tog over next 3 st, sc in next 2 st, repeat from * until last 5 st, 3sc in next sc, sc in next 2 st, sc2tog over next 2 st, turn.
Row 4: Repeat Row 3.
Row 5: Ch 3, tr2tog over next 2 st, *dc, hdc, sc, hdc, dc, tr3tog over next 3 st, repeat from *, end with tr2tog over last 2 st, turn.
Row 6: Ch 1, sc in each st across, turn.
