Comprehensive Guide to Crocheting a Unique Pattern with 8 Stitches Wide and 2 Rows Height

Pattern repeat is 8 sts wide and 2 rows high.

Setup Row

1st row (set-up row): 8 chain sts + 4 chain sts, 2 double crochet in the 6th st from the crochet hook, * 1 chain st, skip 1 st in the chain and make 1 double crochet*. You'll get a net.

Second Row

2nd row: 3 chain sts increase, 3 double crochet in this st, repeat the following combination to end of row: * 7 double crochets with common top, waver from 7 double crochets with common top*. Finish the row with 4 double crochets in the 2nd chain st.

Third Row

3rd row: 4 chain sts increase, 1 double crochet, skip 1 double crochet from the lower row, 1 chain st in the st of double crochets with common top group. Then, continue crocheting in a crochet * 1 chain st, 1 double crochet*. Finish the row with 1 double crochet in the 3rd chain st.

Fourth Row

4th row: repeat the 2nd row.

Finishing Touches

Repeat rows 3 and 4 to the needed height.
