Beak (Yellow Yarn)

Cheeks (Pink Yarn)

  1. 8 sc in a magic ring (8); fasten off and leave a long tail of yarn to attach the cheeks to the penguin’s head.

Wings (Gray Yarn; Make Two)

  1. 6 sc in a magic ring (6).
  2. *2 sc, 1 sc inc*, repeat twice (8).
  3. sc even (8); fasten off and leave a long tail of yarn to sew the wing to the side of the body.

Do not stuff the wing; flatten it instead before attaching it between rounds #19-22.

Feet (Black Yarn; Make Two)

  1. 4 ch, 2 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook, 1 sc, 2 sc inc in the last ch; keep working on the opposite side of the foundation chain, 1 sc, 1 sc inc in the last st that already contains 2 sc (10).
  2. sc even (10).
