What of guage and what is the yarn weight. Thats the only trouble I have with these patterns. Rarely do you get a yarn weight ( sport, dk etc ,& rarely do you get a guage
I LOVE this pattern but I donr knit. Is rherr a way to do it WITHOUT knitting. Thats gors for all patterns with knitting Also are the patterns written in UK english terms or English terms * wjat does placket mean.?
How do you figure out the correct yarn weight for when a pattern doesnt specify a particular brand? And are these patterns written in UK English or American English. Any help u can give me will be greatly appreciated. Thank you
Oh my finally someone like me. I find alot of things confusing like whats the yarn weight when they dont put a brand in & a number of them use knitting needles but this one for instance its just used on the shoulder «placket»? I think I have figured out they they dont write out full pattern. Its up to you to figure how many times to crochet a certain row. Ive found writing out the entire pattern seems to help also Im assuming this is written in UK terms although thats one of the questions Ive never had answered. I think the diagrams are just for aiding in assembly etc.
PLEASE HELP This is without a doubt the prettiest cardigan pattern Ive ever run across. Im not one for cardigans but I am going to make this one. My biggest issue is trying to figure out the yarn weight when no specific brand of yarn is listed for instance this pattern only says x amount of g of polyacry. That doesnt tell me if its a 2 3 4 5 or 6 weight. It appears to be a 3 or 4 but how do I tell PLEASE

It says 15mm crochet hook do they mean 1.5? I didnt even kniw there was a 15mm? Thank u
