Materials
Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran Tonals (55% wool, 33% acrylic, 12% cashmere, 50g/90m)
2 balls of Chestnut (30509) (Yarn A)
1 ball of Gold (30503) (Yarn B)
5.0 mm hook
Scissors

Stitches Used (US Terms)
ch = chain
sc = single crochet
blo = back loop only
wst = waistcoat stitch (like a dc, but placed in the center of the dc or wst of the previous round instead of in the sp between the sts)
Gauge
16 sts and 20 rows to measure 10x10cm (4x4in) over waistcoat stitches using a 5mm hook, or size needed to obtain correct tension
Final Size
Adult size: 23.5 x 11.4cm (9.25 x 4.5in)
Instructions
Pattern Notes
Note 1: Use a stitch marker as there are now continuous rounds.
Note 2: For rounds 6-11, crochet the wst such that you insert the hook through the st, yarn over with the color specified, pull through the loop (2 loops on the hook), finish the wst with Yarn A by yarning over and pulling through both loops.
Note 3: Only use Yarn B now.
Note 4: Leave stitch marker in place as that helps to figure out where to start the fingers.
Pattern for the Knit-Like Gloves with Flying Hearts
Make 2 gloves.
Using Yarn A.
Ch8.
Row 1 (RS) sc in each ch to end, turn. [7 sts]
Row 2-25 Ch1 (does not count as st) 1 sc in the blo in each st, turn.
After row 26, fold the ribbing in half and slip stitch the ends together to make a circle, then do not cut the yarn. Flip the ribbing over so the slip stitches point inwards.

Round 1: Ch1, place 35 sc equally all around the top of the ribbing. [35 sts]
Round 2 – 4: 1 wst in each st.
Round 5: *1 wst in the next 6 sts, 1 wst inc; repeat from * to end. [40 sts]

Round 6: *1 wst in Yarn B, 1 wst in Yarn A, 1 wst in Yarn B, 1 wst in Yarn A in the next 4 sts, 1 wst in Yarn B; repeat from * to end.

Pointy Finger
Round 1: 1 wst in the next 5 sts, skip 30 sts 1 wst in the next 5 sts. [10 sts]
Round 2 – 14: 1 wst in each st to end.
Round 15: 1 wst dec to end, fasten off. [5 sts]
Middle Finger
Attach Yarn A to the 6th last st of round 23 via a slip knot.
Round 1: Ch1, skip 10 sts, 1 wst in the next 5 sts, skip 20 sts, 1 wst in the next 5 sts. [10 sts]
Round 2 – 16: 1 wst in each st to end.
Round 17: 1 wst dec to end, fasten off. [5 sts]
Ring Finger
Attach Yarn A to the 11th last st of round 23 via a slip knot.
Round 1: Ch1, skip 20 sts, 1 wst in the next 5 sts, skip 10 sts, 1 wst in the next 5 sts. [10 sts]
Round 2 – 14: 1 wst in each st to end.
Round 15: 1 wst dec to end, fasten off. [5 sts]
Pinky Finger
Attach Yarn A to the 16th last st of round 23 via a slip knot.
Round 1: Ch1, skip 30 sts, 1 wst in the next 10 sts. [10 sts]
Round 2 – 9: 1 wst in each st to end.
Round 10: 1 wst dec to end, fasten off. [5 sts]
Thumb
Attach Yarn A to the first skipped stitch of round 12 via a slip knot.
Round 1: Ch 1, 1 wst in the next 5 sts, 1 wst in the corner, place 5 wst evenly to the top side of the thumb hole, 1 wst in the corner. [12 sts]
Round 2 – 13: 1 wst in each st to end.
Round 14: 1 wst dec to end, fasten off. [6 sts]
