Pattern with Beads
The quantity of sts is multiple of 3 + 1, with 1 bead considered as 1 st.
Work according to the scheme. Start every row with either 1 or 3 chain sts increase instead of the 1st single crochet or double crochet and include sts before the pattern repeat, continue with the pattern repeat, finishing with sts after the pattern repeat. Make the 1st-4th rows once, then repeat the 3rd-4th rows, making double crochets together with beads starting from the 3rd row.Wrong-Side Pattern
In RS (Right Side) row – purls, in WS (Wrong Side) row – knit sts.
Stockinette Stitch
In RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls.
Striped Pattern
4 green rows of wrong-side pattern, 4 violet rows of stockinette stitch, 1 beige RS row of knit sts, and 4 beige rows of wrong-side pattern, followed by 4 green rows of stockinette stitch, 1 violet WS row of purls and 4 violet rows of wrong-side pattern, ending with 1 beige WS row of purls and 4 beige rows of wrong-side pattern, 4 green rows of stockinette stitch, 1 violet RS row of knit sts and 3 violet rows of wrong-side pattern = 48 rows.
Stitches Control
Beads Pattern: 16 sts x 5.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
Striped Pattern: 15 sts x 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Back
For lower rectangular, make 40 chain sts + 1 chain st increase and create 20 cm = 11 rows of the pattern with beads. For upper square, make 160 sts with green yarn and work with the striped pattern. In 1.5 cm = 4 rows from the set-up row, decrease 8 sts in the next row as follows: *kni3tog, 37 sts of pattern around*; repeat from * to * three times = 152 sts. Repeat these decreases 17 times in every 2nd row. In 40 rows from the set-up row, make 1 final row with beige yarn as follows: *purl3tog, 1 purl*; repeat from * to * three times. Tighten the remaining 8 sts with the working yarn. Sew side edges to get a square. Attach the striped square to the last row of the lace rectangular = 40 sts.
Front
Make the same way as the back.
Left Side Detail
For the lower rectangular, cast on 120 sts with green yarn and work with the striped pattern. In 1.5 cm = 4 rows from the set-up row, decrease 6 sts in the next RS row as follows: make 37 sts, knit4tog as broaching, then 38 sts according to the pattern, knit4tog again as broaching, finish with 37 sts = 114 sts. In 17.5 cm = 42 rows from the set-up row, bind off the remaining 6 sts with green yarn as knit sts. Fold the bound-off edge in half and sew 3 sts together. For the upper rectangular, cast on 40 sts with beige yarn and work with the striped pattern. For chamfer, decrease 4 x 1 st in every 4th row from inwards. In 20 cm = 48 rows from the set-up row, bind off the remaining 16 sts from each side with purls using violet yarn. Attach the set-up row of the upper rectangular to the upper edge of the lower rectangular.
Right Side Detail
Make in the same way as the left side detail.
Sleeves
Make 34 chain sts + 1 chain st increase and work with the beads pattern. In 12.5 cm = 7 rows from the set-up row, increase 1 x 1 st from both sides in the next row and 8 x 1 st in every 2nd row. Initially, make increased sts as double crochets, then include them in the pattern = 52 sts. In 45.5 cm = 25 rows from the set-up row, decrease 9 sts from both sides for arm-holes and work on the remaining 34 sts for 11 cm = 6 rows using the pattern. Finish your work in 56.5 cm = 31 rows from the set-up row.
Assembly
Sew the side details between the front and back, stretching the side edges of the upper squares. Attach the sleeves, sewing the upper 11 cm to the upper edges of the side details to 5.5 cm of horizontal edges and connect to the arm-holes. Complete sleeve seams. Cast on 136 sts along the neck-hole with circular knitting needles and beige yarn, making 1 cm = 3 circular rows of stockinette stitch for the placket, and bind off as knit sts.
