Instructions
Starting from the left side, cast on 42 stitches and work according to the patterns order. The center of the work forms the upper line of the sleeve-shoulder. At the same time, from the setup row, increase 3 x 3 stitches, 13 x 2 stitches, and 15 x 1 stitch in every 2nd row from both sides for a smooth rounding = 142 stitches.
In 48 cm = 70 rows from the setup row, divide your work in the middle for the neck hole and continue making each detail separately = 71 stitches. Leave stitches for the front. At the same time, from the work division, bind off 1 stitch from the edge of the neck hole for the back and 1 x 2 stitches in the next 2nd row = 68 stitches.
In 56.6 cm = 82 rows from the setup row, the center of the back is reached, and after that finish the neck hole in symmetry. In 65 cm = 94 rows from the setup row, leave all 71 stitches.
After that, work on previously left 71 stitches of the front and bind off 2 stitches from the edge for a smooth rounding and 3 x 1 stitch in every 2nd row = 66 stitches. Continue knitting in symmetry from the middle of the front. In 65 cm = 94 rows from the setup row, finish your poncho on all 142 stitches. In 113 cm = 164 rows from the setup row, bind off the remaining 42 stitches.
Assembly
Cast on 466 stitches along the lower edge of the poncho and make a placket with 1 x 1 rib. At 4 cm = 5 rounds height of the placket, continue work on the setup row and bind off edges from both sides of the line. Make sleeve-shoulder on 11 stitches (= total of, 22 stitches) of rib for the sleeve placket, and bind off the remaining stitches as they face.
In 23 cm from the setup row, bind off stitches of the sleeve placket according to the pattern and make placket seams. For the collar, cast on 52 stitches with circular knitting needles and work with rib in rounds. At 22 cm height of the collar, bind off stitches as they face.
