You’ll Need:

550 (650)g of beige Eco yarn (100% organic cotton; 90m/50g);

Straight knitting needles 4.5 and 5;

Circular knitting needles 4.5.

Size:

S (M).

Used Patterns:

Garter Stitch:

Knit sts; in circle rows – 1 circle row of knit sts, 1 circle row of purls by turn;

Relief Pattern:

The quantity of sts is multiple of 15 + 6 + 2 selvage sts.

Work due to the scheme, on which only RS rows are stated, make WS rows and yarn overs as purls. Start with 1 selvage st, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat and 1 selvage st. Make 1st-10th rows once, then repeat 3rd-10th rows.

Stitches Control:

17 sts x 22.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions:

Back:

Cast on 83 (98) sts with knitting needles 4.5 and make 2 cm = 5 rows of garter stitch for the placket, starting with 1 WS row. Then, switch to knitting needles 5 and work with relief pattern. In 36.5 cm = 82 rows from the placket, bind off 3 sts from both sides for armholes and 3 x 2 sts, 1 x 1 st in every 2nd row = 63 (78) sts. In 55 cm = 124 rows (58.5 cm = 132 rows) from the placket, bind off the central 27 (34) sts for the neck-hole line and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 2 sts and 1 x 1 st in every 2nd row from inwards. In 58 cm = 130 rows (61.5 cm = 138 rows) from the placket, leave the rest 15 (19) sts for shoulder from each side.

Front:

Make in the same way as back, but with a deeper neck-hole. Bind off the central 13 (20) sts in 47 cm = 106 rows (50.5 cm = 114 rows) from the placket and 1 x 3 sts, 3 x 2 sts, 1 x 1 st in every 2nd row.

Sleeves:

Cast on 41 (56) sts with knitting needles 4.5 and make the placket in the same way as back. Then, switch to knitting needles 5 and work with relief pattern as follows: start with 1 selvage st and st before arrow, make 2 (3) pattern repeats, 1 selvage st. At the same time, increase 10 x 1 st in every 8th row from the placket for sleeve chamfers = 61 (76) sts, including the increased sts in the pattern. In 40 cm = 90 rows from the placket, bind off 3 (5) sts from both sides for sleeve caps and 11 x 2 sts in every 2nd row. In 50.5 cm = 114 rows from the placket, bind off the rest 11 (22) sts.

Assembly:

Make shoulder seams. Cast on 82 (96) sts along the neck-hole line with circular knitting needles and make the placket with garter stitch. At 2 cm height of the placket, bind off all the sts as knit sts. Sew up the sleeves, and make side and sleeve seams.
