​Crochet Marine Colors Afghan

You’ll need:

2 skeins of dark green, light green and cream 100% cotton yarn (each color);

Crochet hook 5 mm.


Size: 48"x 48".


Instructions

With darkest color, ch 164

Row 1: sc in second ch from hook and each ch across

Row 2: ch 1, sc in 1st sc, *sk next 2 sc, 7 dc in next sc, sk next 2 sc, sc in next sc, repeat from * across- change color with last stitch

Row 3: ch 4, sk next dc, dc in next 5 dc, *ch 1, sk next 3 sts, dc in next 5 dc, repeat from * across to last 2 sts, sk next dc, tr in last sc

Row 4: ch 3, 3 dc in same st, *sk next 2 dc, sc in next dc, *sk next 2 dc, 7 dc in next ch1sp, sk next 2 dc, sc in next dc, repeat from * to last 3 sts- sk next 2 dc, 4 dc in last tr

Row 5: ch 3, dc in next 2 dc, ch 1, *sk next 3 sts, dc in next 5 dc, ch 1, repeat from * to last 6 sts- sk next 3 sts and dc in each of last 3 dc.

Row 6: ch 1, sc in 1st dc, *sk next 2 dc, 7 dc in next ch1sp, sk next dc, sc in next dc, repeat from * to end

Row 7: ch 4, sk in next dc, dc in next 5 dc, *ch 1, sk next 3 sts, dc in next 5 dc, repeat from * to last 2 sts- sk next dc and tr in last sc.

Row 8: ch 3, 3 dc in same st, sk next 2 dc, sc in next dc, *sk next dc, 7 dc in next ch1sp, sk next 2 dc, sc in next dc, repeat from * to last 3 sts- sk next 2 dc, 4 dc in last tr

Row 9: ch 3, dc in next 2 dc, ch 1, *sk next 3 st, dc in next 5 dc, ch 1, repeat from * to last 6 sts- sk next 3 sts, dc in each of last 3 sts

Row 10: ch 1, sc in 1st dc, *sk next 2 dc, 7 dc in next ch1sp, sk next 2 dc, sc in next dc, repeat from * to end of row

Row 11: ch 4, sk next dc, dc in next 5 dc, *ch 1, sk next 3 sts, dc in next 5 dc, repeat from * to last 2 sts- sk next dc and put tr in last sc

Row 12: ch 3, 3 dc in same st, sk next 2 dc, sc in next dc, *sk next 2 dc, 7 dc in next ch1sp, sk next 2 dc, sc in next dc, repeat from * to last 3 sts- sk next 2 dc and put 4 dc in last tr

Row 13: ch 3, dc in next 2 dc, ch 1, *sk next 3 st, dc in next 5 dc, ch 1, repeat from * to last 6 sts- sk next 3 sts, dc in each of last 3 dc

Repeat rows 3-14 until desired length. (will need more yarn for blanket longer than 48")
