Back
Make a chain of 24 cm long and work according to scheme 1. In 30 rows, leave the central 16 squares open for the neck-hole and then, make each shoulder on 12 squares for 3 rows separately.
Then, leave 3 squares from the side of the arm-hole and make a flap with double crochets on the remaining squares, making decreases in the following way:- 1st-2nd rows: without decreases;
- 3rd-4th rows: 2 sts together from both sides of every row;
- 5th-6th rows: 3 sts together from both sides of every row;
- 7th row: all the rest sts together.
Make another side in symmetry.
Front
Make in the same way as the back, but make the whale according to scheme 2. Make shoulders without flaps.
Assembly
Make shoulder seams, sew 3 squares from each side. Make side seams, leaving 8-9 cm from both sides for arm-holes. Fasten the neck-hole, flaps, and arm-holes with 1 row of single crochets. Sew on buttons.
