How to Knit a Stylish Sweater Using Adelia Aria and Alpina Marta Yarn


You’ll Need
1100g of Adelia Aria yarn (100% acrylic; 100m/100g) in white color (# 02);
100g of Alpina Marta yarn (100% bamboo; 120m/100g);
100g of the same yarn, but in dark-grey color (# 35);
Knitting needles 5-5.5.

L-XL.
Used Patterns
1 x 1 Rib
Relief pattern: due to the scheme. Make WS row according to the pattern.
Repeat the pattern, finishing with sts after the pattern repeat. Make 1st-12th rows.Stitches Control
15 sts x 18 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Make back and front as one-piece cloth to armholes. Cast on 150 sts and work with relief pattern according to the scheme. After making 70 cm = 126 rows from the beginning of work, decrease 1 x 1 st in every 7th row from both sides for front neck-hole. After making 144 rows from the beginning of work, divide your work into back (78 sts) and front (36 sts for each half) and continue working separately.
Right Front
Continue making decreases along neck-hole line; for armholes, increase 7 x 1 st in every row for the armhole. Continue work without increases on all the sts according to the scheme. After making 50 rows from the beginning of work without increases, bind off all the sts.
Left Front
Make in symmetry to the right front.
Back
Increase 7 x 1 st in every row from both sides for armholes, and continue work without increases on all the sts. After making 50 rows from the beginning of work without increases, bind off all the sts.
Sleeves
Cast on 50 sts along the edges of sleeves, stepping back the same quantity of sts from both sides of shoulder seams. Continue work according to the scheme. After making 60 rows, continue work with 1 x 1 rib. Make 4 white rows, 4 light-grey rows, 4 dark-grey rows, and bind off all the sts. Cast on 392 sts along the bottom of work, edges of front and back neck-hole with white yarn. Place markers on the corner sts. Continue work with 1 x 1 rib. Increase 1 st from both sides of marked sts in every corner in every 2nd row. After making 4 rows, change the color of yarn to light-grey. After making 4 rows, change to dark-grey color. Bind off all the sts after making 4 rows.
Belt
For the belt, cast on 168 sts with dark-grey yarn. Continue work with 1 x 1 rib. Make 4 dark-grey rows, 4 light-grey rows, and 4 white rows. Bind off all the sts.
