Instructions

Back

Make 123 chain stitches + 1 chain stitch increase and work with weaver pattern. For side chamfers, decrease 1 pattern repeat from both sides in the 30th row after the set-up row, matching your work with the pattern design in natural size. In 43 cm = 30 rows from the set-up row, fasten the last row of the weaver pattern with 86 single crochets (21 single crochets in pattern repeat + 1 single crochet from both sides) and switch to relief pattern. At the same time, for side chamfers, increase 8 x 1 stitch in every 2nd row from both sides = 102 stitches, include the increased stitches in the pattern. At 14 cm height of the relief pattern, leave 3 stitches from both sides for armholes and decrease 3 x 2 stitches, 4 x 1 stitch in every following row = 76 stitches. At 35 cm height of the relief pattern, leave 6 stitches from both sides for shoulder chamfers and 2 x 6 stitches in every row. Simultaneously, with the 1st decrease for shoulder, leave the central 34 stitches for neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For smooth rounding, leave 1 x 3 stitches in the next row from inwards. Finish your work at 36.5 cm height of the relief pattern.

Left Front

Make 63 chain stitches + 1 chain stitch increase and work with the weaver pattern. Make decreases for the side chamfer from the right side in the same way as for the back. In 43 cm = 30 rows from the set-up row, fasten the last row of weaver pattern with 44 single crochets (21 single crochets in pattern repeat + 1 single crochet from both sides) and switch to relief pattern. Make increases for the side chamfer from the right side and decreases for the armhole and shoulder chamfer in the same way as for the back. At 23 cm height of the relief pattern, leave 3 stitches from the left side for neck-hole and make special decreases in every 2nd row for smooth rounding (rows of double crochets), 3 x 2 stitches, 2 x 3 stitches, and 3 x 2 stitches, i.e., make 3 or 4 double crochets together. Finish your work at the same height as the back.

Right Front

Make in symmetry to the left front.

Sleeves

Make 69 chain stitches + 1 chain stitch increase and work with the weaver pattern. Add 2 arches in the 1st row and start and finish with 1 double crochet and 1 group of double crochets from the 2nd row. In 48.5 cm = 34 rows from the set-up row, fasten the last row of weaver pattern with 68 single crochets and then switch to relief pattern. At 6 cm = 3 rows height of the relief pattern, leave 3 stitches from both sides for sleeve caps and decrease 4 x 2 stitches, 3 x 1 stitch, 1 x 2 stitches, and 2 x 3 stitches in every 2nd row. At 21 cm = 28 rows height of the relief pattern, finish your work on the remaining 24 stitches.

Assembly

Make seams and sew up the sleeves. Fasten all the edges with fringe and create 4 buttonholes in the 1st circular row. Sew buttons.
