You’ll Need

500g of green Merino 2000 yarn (100% merino wool; 160m/50g);

Crochet hook 3.

Size

S.

Used Patterns

Main Pattern

The quantity of sts is multiple 15 + 2 + 3 chain sts increase. Work according to scheme 1. Start with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, and finish with sts after pattern repeat.

Make 1st-9th rows once, then repeat 2nd-9th rows.

Rose-Knot

Make 8 chain sts and circle them with 1 slip st.

1st row: 3 chain sts increase, 20 double crochets, 1 slip st in chain st increase.

Stitches Control

20 sts x 7.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Make 107 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and work with the main pattern = 6 pattern repeats + initial and final sts. In 58.5 cm = 44 rows from the set-up row, finish your work. The central 2 pattern repeats + ½ pattern repeat from both sides form the neck-hole, which will be decreased by 2 cm; after that, they will be sewn to the front plackets. The outer 1 ½ pattern repeat + initial or final sts from both sides will form the shoulders.

Left Front

Make 47 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and work with the main pattern = 2 pattern repeats + initial and final sts. For the front placket, increase 4 double crochets in the 4th-9th rows from the left side, as stated in scheme 2. This increase is indicated on the pattern design as chamfer. In 32 cm = 24 rows from the set-up row, decrease final sts + ½ pattern repeat during 20 rows for the chamfer, making decreases to 4 double crochets of the placket = initial sts + 1 ½ pattern repeat + 4 double crochets for the shoulder. Finish your work at the height of the back.

Right Front

Make in symmetry to the left front.

Sleeves

Make 77 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase and work with the main pattern = 4 pattern repeats + initial and final sts. In 45.5 cm = 34 rows from the set-up row, finish your work.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams; sew up the sleeves, and complete side and sleeve seams. Fasten all the edges with 1 row of single crochets and 1 row of “shrimp stitch.” Make 2 rose-knots and chain 20 cm long for a strap after the last slip st of every rose-knot. Sew straps to the front at the beginning of the neck-hole chamfer.
