Instructions
Back:
Cast on 347 stitches and make 18 rows with the pattern for ruffle (= 114 stitches). Then, work with 1 x 1 rib. At 35 cm from the ruffle, decrease 1 x 4 stitches and 4 x 1 stitch in every 2nd row from both sides for arm-hole chamfers. At 60 cm, bind off the remaining stitches.
Right Front:
Cast on 168 stitches and make 18 rows with the pattern for ruffle. Then, work only on the first 7 stitches with 1 x 1 rib, incorporating 4 x 4 stitches, 4 x 3 stitches, and 9 x 2 stitches in every 2nd row from the left side; then, cast on 1 x 9 stitches on wrong side at the end of the row and then make these 9 stitches with double rib for the placket (= 63 stitches). Make 12 rows without increases, then, decrease 24 x 1 stitch in every 5th row for the neck-hole after 9 stitches of double rib. At 35 cm from the ruffle, create arm-hole chamfer in the same way as for the back. At 60 cm, bind off 21 stitches of shoulder from the left side and make 10 cm of double rib on the remaining stitches, then leave these stitches.
Left Front:
Make symmetrically to the right front.
Sleeves:
Cast on 151 stitches and make 18 rows of the pattern for ruffle (= 51 stitches). Then, work with 1 x 1 rib, increasing 17 x 1 stitch in every 8th row from both sides. At 45 cm (108 rows), bind off 1 x 4 stitches from both sides for sleeve caps, then, decrease 26 x 1 stitch in every 2nd row. At 60 cm, bind off the last 25 stitches.
Assembly:
Assemble shoulders, sleeves, and side seams, then sew the sleeves. Attach both halves of the back neck-hole placket and sew the placket to the neck-hole line.
