Materials Required

You’ll need:

  • 500g of beige Silkdream yarn (50% Merino wool, 50% silk; 90m/50g);
  • Knitting needles 5;
  • Crochet hook 3,5-4.

Size: S.

Note: Right and left halves of the front are knitted in diagonal.

Used Patterns

Relief Pattern

The quantity of sts is multiple 8 + 5 + 2 selvedge sts.

Work according to scheme 1, which states both RS and WS rows. Start with 1 selvedge st and sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat and 1 selvedge st. Repeat 1st-4th rows.

Weaver Pattern

The quantity of sts is multiple 15 + 2. Work according to scheme 2. Start each row with 3 chain sts increase instead of the 1st double crochet and sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat. Make 1st-7th rows x once.

Color Order

3 beige rows, * 1 pink row, 1 beige row*; repeat from * to * x once.

Stitches Control

Relief pattern: 22 sts x 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Weaver pattern: 18.5 sts x 7 rows = 10 x 4.5 cm.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 103 sts and make 1 WS row with knit sts (don’t take this row into account). Then, work with relief pattern. In 31.5 cm = 82 rows from the set-up row, bind off 5 sts from both sides for armholes and 1 x 4 sts, 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts and 2 x 1 sts in every 2nd row. In 51 cm = 132 rows from the set-up row, bind off the rest 71 sts.

Left Front

Start with the left side seam: cast on 5 sts and work with relief pattern (1 selvedge st, the last 3 sts, 1 selvedge st). For chamfer, increase 12 x 4 sts and 1 x 2 sts in every 2nd row from the right side, include the increased sts in the pattern = 55 sts. In 46 cm = 120 rows from the set-up row, bind off 4 sts for side seam from left side, then, 5 x 4 sts in every 2nd row. At the same time, after the 4th decrease, leave the first 20 sts for armhole in the next RS row, then, bind off 1 st, 1 x 2 sts, 1 x 3 sts and 1 x 5 sts in every 2nd row. Then, include the previously left 20 sts in work and knit the pattern, bind off 4 sts from inwards and 4 x 4 sts in every 2nd row. In 42 cm = 110 rows from the set-up row, bind off all the sts. For the placket, fasten the right side with weaver pattern, make 77 single crochets in the 1st row with the help of crochet hook.

Right Front

Make in symmetry to the left.

Sleeves

Cast on 55 sts and make 1 WS row with knit sts (don’t take this row into account). Then, work with relief pattern. For sleeve chamfers, increase 9 x 1 sts in every 10th row, include the increased sts in the pattern = 73 sts. In 40 cm = 104 rows from the set-up row, bind off 5 sts from both sides for sleeve cap, then, 1 x 4 sts, 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts and 4 x 1 st in every 2nd row, 3 x 1 st in every 4th row, 2 x 1 st, 1 x 2 sts, 1 x 4 sts in every 2nd row. In 54 cm = 140 rows from the set-up row, bind off the rest 15 sts.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams at 4 cm; for this, make 4 picots of placket on the back. Sew up the sleeves, put the right front upon the left one, make side and sleeve seams.
