Hanging Loop

Toast and Egg

Toast

Note: Ch 3 at beg of rnd counts as dc. With A, ch 20.

1st row: 1 dc in 4th ch from hook (counts as 2 dc). 1 dc in each ch to end of chain. Turn. 18 dc.

2nd to 9th rows: Ch 3. 1 dc in each dc to end of row. Turn.

10th row: Skip first 3 sts. 7 tr in next dc. Skip next 3 sc. Sl st in each of next 3 dc. Skip next 3 dc. 7 tr in next dc. Skip next 3 dc. Sl st in last st. Fasten off.

Crust

With RS facing, join B with sl st to bottom right corner of Toast. Ch 1. Work 1 sc in each rem ch of foundation ch across bottom edge. Work 3 sc in corner. Work 21 sc up side to center st of first 7 tr group. Work 3 sc in center st of 7 tr group. Work 1 sc in each of next 9 sts. Work 3 sc in center st of 7 tr group. Work 21 sc down side. Work 2 sc in same corner as first sc. Join with sl st to first sc. Fasten off.

Egg Yolk

With D, ch 2.

1st rnd: Work 8 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Join with sl st to first sc.

Egg White

Hanging Loop:

Join B with sl st at top corner of Toast. Ch 15. Sl st in 2nd ch from hook and each ch to end of chain. Fasten off, overlap end of loop and secure.

Coffee Cup

With B, ch 16.

1st rnd: (RS). Sl st in 2nd ch from hook. Sl st in next ch. 1 sc in each of next 2 ch. 1 hdc in each of next 2 ch. 1 dc in each of next 3 ch. 1 hdc in each of next 2 ch. 1 sc in each of next 2 ch. Sl st in each of last 2 ch. Working into rem loops of foundation ch, sl st in each of first 2 ch. 1 sc in each of next 2 ch. 1 hdc in each of next 2 ch. 1 dc in each of next 3 ch. 1 hdc in each of next 2 ch. 1 sc in each of next 2 ch. Sl st in each of last 2 ch. Fasten off.

Mug

With C, ch 12.

1st row: 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 sc in each ch to end of chain. Turn. 11 sc.

2nd row: Ch 1. 1 sc in first sc. 2 sc in next st. 1 sc in each of next 7 sc. 2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in last sc. Turn. 13 sc.

3rd row: Ch 1. 1 sc in each sc to end of row. Turn.

4th row: Ch 1. 1 sc in first sc. 2 sc in next st. 1 sc in each of next 9 sc. 2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in last sc. Turn. 15 sc.

Next 9 rows: As 3rd row.

Next 3 rows: With E, as 3rd row. Break E.

Handle

Ch 10. Join with sl st to side of Mug 2 rows above E stripe. Work sl st in each ch or ch 10. Rejoin with sl st to Mug and continue working sc evenly around, working 2 sc in each corner. Fasten off.

Hanging Loop

Join E with sl st at corner of Mug. Ch 15. Sl st in 2nd ch from hook and each ch to end of chain. Fasten off, overlap end of loop and secure.

Assembly

Sew Coffee at top of Mug as shown in picture.
