You’ll Need:

600g of Vita Unity in light-blue color (85% wool, 15% acryl; 175m/100g);

Knitting needles 3.5;

Circular knitting needles 3.5;

Crochet hook 3.5;

3 buttons.

Used Patterns:

• 2 x 2 rib;
• Main motif (make 62): make 6 chain sts and circle them in the ring with the help of slip st.

1^st row: 1 chain st increase, 7 single crochets in the obtained ring, slip st;

2^nd row: 4 chain sts increase, 2 unfinished treble crochets together from 1 base st, 9 chain sts, 3 unfinished treble crochets together from 1 base st, *5 chain sts, 3 unfinished treble crochets together from 1 base st, 9 chain sts, 3 unfinished treble crochets together from 1 base st*; repeat from * to * x twice, 5 chain sts;

½ of main motif (make 16): make 6 chain sts and circle them in the ring with the help of slip st.

1^st row: 1 chain st increase, 5 single crochets in the ring, slip st;

2^nd row: 8 chain sts (4 chain sts increase + 4 chain sts), 3 unfinished treble crochets together from 1 base st, 5 chain sts, 3 unfinished treble crochets together from 1 base st, 9 chain sts, 3 unfinished treble crochets together from 1 base st, 5 chain sts, 3 unfinished treble crochets together from 1 base st, 4 chain sts, 1 treble crochet.

Stitches Control:

1 main motif = 9 x 9 cm;

½ main motif: 4.5 x 4.5 cm.

Instructions:

Assembly:

Connect all the motifs between one another due to the scheme. Cast on 198 sts with knitting needles 3.5 and make 12 rows of 2 x 2 rib. Bind off all the sts in the 13^th row.

Right Front:

Cast on 74 sts with knitting needles 3.5 and make 5 rows of 2 x 2 rib. Make button-holes in the 6^th row in the following way: 56 sts of 2 x 2 rib, 1 yarn over, knit 2 together, 10 sts of rib, 1 yarn over, knit 2 together, 4 sts of 2 x 2 rib. Bind off the sts in the 11^th row.

Left Front:

Cast on 74 sts with knitting needles 3.5 and make 10 rows with 2 x 2 rib. Bind off all the sts in the 11^th row.

Cast on 170 sts along the neck-hole line with knitting needles 3.5 and make 5 cm of 2 x 2 rib. Make button-holes in the 6^th row in the following way: 4 sts of 2 x 2 rib, 1 yarn over, knit 2 together, 164 sts of 2 x 2 rib. Cast on 60 sts along sleeve lines with circular knitting needles 3.5 and make 16 rows of 2 x 2 rib. Bind off all the sts in the 17^th row. Sew buttons.
