You’ll need:

700g of 100% cotton yarn in linen color;

Crochet hook 2.

Size

210 x 252 cm.

Used Patterns

Square motif: due to the scheme.

Instructions

Afghan

Make 30 square motifs due to the scheme; if you need to change the size of your afghan, you should increase/decrease the quantity of motifs.

Make each square in the following way: make a ring, 3 chain sts increase = 1 double crochet, 2 double crochets bound off together, * 3 chain sts, 3 double crochets bound off together*; repeat from * to * x 8 times and circle in the ring with the help of slip st. Continue work on the following 18 rows due to the scheme.

Assembly

Connect the motifs in any of the following 2 ways:

  • 1) Sew with the needle, using the same yarn. For this, put motifs very close and sew them;
  • 2) Connect the motifs from WS with 1 row of single crochets.

Fringe

Cut the threads 50 cm long, group with 8 threads, fold in half and fasten along the edges of the afghan.
