You’ll Need:

400 (400) 450g of Limone SCHOELLER + STÄHL yarn in yellow color (100% cotton; 125m/50g);

Knitting needles 3.5 and 4.

Size:

S (M) L.

Used Patterns:

2 x 2 rib, knitting needles 3.5;

Stockinette stitch, knitting needles 4: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls.

Main pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 12 + 1.

Work according to the scheme, on which only RS rows are stated. Make WS rows and yarn overs as purls. Repeat 1st-20th rows.

Stitches Control:

19 sts x 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Rib: 18 sts x 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions:

Back:

Cast on 89 (97) 105 sts and make 1 cm of stockinette stitch. Continue with the main pattern in the following way: 1 selvage st, 1 (5) 3 knit sts, start with 6 sts before pattern repeat, 6 (6) 7 x pattern repeat, finish with 7 sts after pattern repeat, 1 (5) 3 knit sts, 1 selvage st. In 10 cm from the roller edge, decrease 1 st for hips chamfers and 3 x 1 st in every 6th row from both sides = 81 (89) 97 sts. In 21 cm from the roller edge, continue work with 2 x 2 rib, decrease 11 sts in the 1st row = 70 (78) 86 sts. At 12 cm height, continue with the main pattern, increase 41 sts in the 1st row = 111 (119) 127 sts and work in the following way: 1 selvage st, 0 (4) 2 knit sts, start with 6 sts before pattern repeat, 8 (8) 9 x pattern repeat, finish with 7 sts after pattern repeat, 0 (4) 2 knit sts, selvage st. For side chamfers, increase 10 x 1 st in every 4th row from both sides and 2 x 1 st in every 2nd row from both sides = 135 (143) 151 sts.

Then, knit 19 cm straight for arm-hole. In 71 cm from the set-up row, bind off 6 x 5 sts (4 x 6 sts and 2 x 5 sts), 4 x 6 sts and 2 x 7 sts. In 77 cm from the set-up row, bind off the remaining 75 sts.

Front:

Make in the same way as the back.

Assembly:

Make the side seams with matrass stitch. Make side seams only for 52 cm. For the placket, lift 138 sts along the neck-hole and make 1 circle row with purls, 1 circle row of knit sts, 1 circle row of purls.

Then, make 1 cm of stockinette stitch and bind off the sts.

Make 2 cords from 8 threads 150 (160) 170 cm long, and insert them into the rib due to the ornament on the waist, starting with the middle of the front.
