Instructions

Cast on 38 (42) sts for the left sleeve and make 8 cm of rib for the placket, increasing 7 sts in the last row = 45 (49) sts. Then, work with the main pattern and increase 5 x 1 st in every 10th row, 6 x 1 st in every 8th row, 1 x 1 st in every 6th row, 1 x 1 st in every 4th row for sleeve shape. Then, increase 1 x 1 st, 1 x 2 sts, 2 x 3 sts, and 4 x 4 sts in every 2nd row (6 x 1 st in every 10th row, 1 x 1 st in every 8th row, 1 x 1 st in every 6th row, 4 x 1 st in every 4th row, then, 3 x 1 st, 1 x 2 sts, 2 x 3 sts, and 4 x 4 sts in every 2nd row) = 121 (129) sts. For smooth rounding, bind off 1 x 1 st along the left side in 52 cm = 136 rows from rib, then, 2 x 1 st in every 8th row, 2 x 1 st in every 6th row, 1 x 1 st in the next 4th row and 2 x 2 sts in every 2nd row, 1 x 3 (4) sts and 1 x 26 (29) sts. At the same time, in 57 cm = 148 rows from rib, leave 60 (64) sts of back open and, at first, finish the left front. For chamfer, bind off 1 x 5 sts from inwards, then, 1 x 4 sts, 1 x 3 sts, 2 x 2 sts, and 5 x 1 st in every 2nd row and 1 x 1 st in the next 4th row. In 67.5 cm = 176 rows from rib, the left front is finished.

Cast on 26 (29) sts for the right front and make in reflection to the left front. In 10.5 cm = 28 rows, leave sts of the right front open and continue making back. For neck-hole, bind off 1 x 2 sts from inwards and 2 x 1 st in every 2nd row = 56 (60) sts. In 67.5 cm = 176 rows, the middle of the back is finished; continue work in reflection. In 135 cm = 352 rows from rib, make rib of the right sleeve, decrease 7 sts in the 1st row = 38 (42) sts. Make 8 cm of rib and bind off the sts.

Assembly

Make side and sleeve seams. For the collar, cast on 35 sts with circular knitting needles along neck-hole chamfers and 62 sts along the back neck-hole from WS and work with rib on all 132 sts. Start with 2 purls in WS rows between selvage sts and finish with knots edge. In 16 cm, bind off all the sts. For the placket, cast on 66 (75) sts along the edges of the front with circular knitting needles and 72 (82) sts along the lower edge of the back = 204 (232) sts. Work with rib, starting with 2 purls on the right placket, and make 3 button-holes in 1.5 cm from the beginning of work. Sew buttons.
