Notes
This sweater is worked from the bottom up. The bodice is constructed using both rounds and rows.
- From 1 to 27 work in rounds, and the rest of the bodice part in rows.
- When working in rounds, turn at the end of each round (from 1 to 9) to create the same effect as crocheting in rows.
- A ribbed edging is included in the neck, sleeves, and bottom edge of the sweater.
- The ribbed edging is created by joining it to the main body while crocheting short rows.
- You can use DK weight yarns if you want to make a larger size baby sweater.
- The beginning chain does not count as a stitch.
- All stitches in the graph pattern (rounds 12 to 24) are worked in back loop only (BLO) single crochet and in rounds.
- For color changes, do a single crochet stitch in the back loop until there are only 2 loops left on the hook, then grab the new colored yarn and pull through the 2 loops. For the next single crochet with the new yarn, crochet over the unworked yarn.
