Cast on 116 (122) 128 sts and make 2 cm = 5 rows of rib, start with 1 WS row. Then, turn to knitting needles 6 and work in the following way: 1 selvage st, * 2 sts of stockinette stitch, 9 (10) 11 sts of wrong-side pattern, 2 sts of stockinette stitch*; repeat from * to * x twice, 1 selvage st.

At the same time, decrease 5 x 1 st in every 8th row and 3 x 6 sts in every 18th row in the following way: make purl2tog in every of 6 stripes of WS pattern = 68 (74) 80 sts.

In 51.5 cm = 98 rows from rib, make 0.5 cm = 2 rows of stockinette stitch, decrease 20 (22) 24 sts in the 1st row = 48 (52) 56 sts.

Then, turn to knitting needles 5 and make a belt with rib. At 7 cm height, bind off the sts due to the pattern.
