• Double Rib

  : Cast on half of the needed quantity of stitches with contrast color yarn.

• Pattern Instructions

• 1^st row with working yarn: * 1 knit stitch, 1 yarn over*; repeat from * to *;
• 2^nd row: * yarn over as knit stitch, slip 1 stitch as purl, don’t knit it, yarn in front of work*; repeat from * to *;
• 3^rd row and last row: * 1 knit stitch, slip 1 stitch as purl, yarn in front of work*; repeat from * to *, take off the contrast color yarn.

• 1 x 1 Rib

• Stockinette Stitch

  : In right side row – knit stitches, in wrong side row – purls;

• Wrong-Side Pattern

  : In right side row – purls, in wrong side row – knit stitches;

• Central Motif

  : 25 stitches; follow the scheme.

Stitches Control

Stockinette stitch: 13 stitches x 19 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back/Front

Cast on 69 stitches and make 4 rows with double rib and 36 rows with 1 x 1 rib. Then, work with patterns order according to the scheme. At 15 cm from rib, bind off 2 x 1 stitch after the first 6 stitches and before the last 6 stitches in every 2^nd row. At 18 cm from rib, decrease 2 x 1 stitch after the first 6 stitches and before the last 6 stitches in every 2^nd row for arm-holes; at 31 cm from rib, decrease 2 x 1 stitch after the first 6 stitches and before the last 6 stitches in every 2^nd row; at 39 cm from rib, decrease 7 x 2 stitches after the first 6 stitches and before the last 6 stitches in every 2^nd row and decrease 1 x 1 stitch. In 8 cm from the beginning of shoulder chamfers, leave open the rest 35 stitches for the neck-hole.

Assembly

Make one shoulder seam and the upper part of the side seam (totally, at 16 cm from open stitches). For the collar, cast on the open stitches of the neck-hole and work with 1 x 1 rib, increasing 1 x 5 stitches in the 1^st row. At 21 cm, make 4 rows with double rib and bind off all stitches. Make the collar seam, then make the second shoulder seam and the upper part of the side seam (totally, at 16 cm from the collar). Complete the lower parts of the side seams to 36 cm height from the set-up row, leaving arm-holes for 23 cm from both sides.
