You’ll Need:

Lion Brand Holiday Homespun Yarn in Starlight or any boucle or bulky yarn (12 ply) – 10 oz or less;

Crochet hook 5.5 mm;

Scissors.

Measurements

Single strand wings average 4″ wide and 8″ tall.

Double strand wings average 9″ wide and 12″ tall.

Instructions

Make 2

R1: Chain 20, sc 19, chain 1, turn.

R2: Sc 17, chain 1, turn.

R3: Sc 17, chain 1, turn.

R4: Sc 15, chain 1, turn.

R5: Sc 15, chain 1, turn.

R6: Sc 12, chain 1, turn.

R7: Sc, hdc 2, dc 7, hdc, 2 hdc in last st.

Continue working around the top now, 2 dc in next st, dc 2, hdc 2, slip stitch in last & loosely slip stitch around the corner to round it off.

Fasten off, leaving a long tail to sew down the long side to give it some stiffness.
