How to Crochet a Stylish Headband with DROPS Muskat Yarn

You’ll Need:

50g of DROPS MUSKAT YARN in Raspberry (#40) color;

Crochet hook 3,5 mm.

Size:

Width: approx. 8.5 cm;

Length: approx. 45 cm (without ties).

Stitches Control:

20 double crochets x 10 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm.

Instructions

Headband

Worked back and forth.

Work 103 chain stitches on hook size 3.5 mm with Muskat.

Work 1 single crochet in the 2nd chain stitch from hook (= 1 single crochet), 1 single crochet in each of the next 2 chain stitches, 1 half double crochet in each of the next 2 chain stitches, 1 double crochet in next chain stitch, *skip 1 chain stitch, 1 double crochet in each of the next 6 chain stitches*, work from *-* until 5 chain stitches remain. Work 1 half double crochet in each of the next 2 chain stitches, and 1 single crochet in each of the last 3 chain stitches = 89 stitches.

Work A.1 over the first 9 stitches, repeat A.2 over the next 72 double crochets (= 9 repetitions of 8 double crochets) and finish with A.3 over the last 8 stitches. Fasten off when A.1 to A.3 have been worked 1 time vertically.

Tie Ribbon

Cut 2 lengths of 1.5 meters each with Muskat. Twine the strands together until they resist, fold them double so that they twist again. Thread it through the 2nd row and down through the next to last row, approximately 2 stitches in from the side on one side of the headband. Tie a knot in each end and tie the ribbon together approximately 5 cm down from where it is fastened to the headband. Do the same on the other end.
