Instructions for Knitting a Stylish Pullover

You’ll Need:

700g of Gedifra Fashion Trend yarn (51% wool, 49% polyacryl; 90m/50g) in mélange green color;

Knitting needles 5.5;

Circular knitting needles 5 and 5.5 (40 cm long);

Crochet hook 5.

Size:

S-L.

Used Patterns

Pattern with Cable and Rhomb

Due to the scheme A. Numbers from the right side mean RS rows.

Cabled Pattern

Work due to the scheme B. Numbers from the right side mean RS rows. Make WS rows due to the ornament. Repeat the pattern of 16 sts in width between arrows a and b and finish with 8 sts after the 2^nd arrow. Repeat 1^st-8^th rows in height.

Stitches Control

Pattern with cable and rhomb: 20 sts x 21.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Front and Sleeves

Knit across. For the pattern with cable and rhomb, make 1^st-28^th rows x 12 times, then, make 1^st-2^nd rows x once = totally, 333 rows. Start with the left half of the sleeve. Cast on 32 sts with knitting needles 5.5 and work with the pattern with cable and rhomb: 1 selvage st, 1^st-30^th sts due to the scheme A, 1 selvage st. Increase 1 st in the 7^th row from the initial row from the left side for sleeve chamfer, then, 8 x 1 st in every 8^th row, 2 x 1 st in every 6^th row, 5 x 1 st in every 4^th row, 4 x 1 st in every 4^th row = 52 sts. Include the first 5 increased sts in the pattern with cable and rhomb, the rest 15 sts – in the cabled pattern in the 1^st-15^th sts after arrow a. In 52 cm = 112 rows from the set-up row, cast on 89 sts from the left side for front = 141 sts. Include these sts in the cabled pattern, start with the 16^th st – purl before arrow b, repeat the pattern x 5 times, finish with 8 sts after arrow b and 1 selvage st. Knit straight for 13 cm = 38 rows, then, bind off 3 sts for the neck-hole from the right side, 2 x 3 sts and 1 x 2 sts in every 2^nd row = 130 sts. In 9 cm = 19 rows from the beginning of neck-hole, details are made to the front center line. Make the second half of the front with the right half of the sleeve in symmetry to the previously described half. Then, bind off the sts.

Back with Sleeves

Make in symmetry to front.

Assembly

Make all the seams. Cast on 64 sts with circular knitting needles along the neck-hole line. Make polo-neck collar. At 4 cm height, turn to circular knitting needles 5.5. At 22 cm height, bind off the sts loosely due to the ornament. Fasten the lower edges of sleeves and pullover with 1 row of “shrimp stitch.”
