You’ll need:

600 (650) 700g of beige Bamboo Soft yarn (65% merino wool, 35% bamboo; 100m/50g);

Knitting needles 5.

Size: S (M) L.

Used Patterns

Main pattern: the quantity of sts is multiple 34 + 1 (11) 21 + 2 selvage sts. Work due to the scheme, on which only RS rows are stated, make WS rows due to the ornament, yarn overs – as purls. Start with 1 selvage st and the last 0 (5) 10 sts of pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with the first 1 (6) 11 sts of pattern repeat and 1 selvage st. Repeat 1st-36th rows.

Rib: the quantity of sts is multiple 6 + 3 + 2 selvage sts.

RS row: 1 selvage st, * 3 knit sts, 3 purls*; repeat from * to *, 3 knit sts, 1 selvage st;

WS row: due to the ornament.



Stitches control: main pattern: 24 sts x 27,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Rib: 21 sts x 27,5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 105 (115) 125 sts with criss-cross method and work with main pattern. In 53 cm = 146 rows from the set-up row, bind off the central 5 sts for the neck-hole and finish both sides separately. For chamfer, bind off 6 x 1 st in every 2nd and every 4th row by turn (12 x 1 st in every 2nd row by turn) 12 x 1 st in every 2nd row, after that make purl2tog till the last cable or after the 1st cable. In 62 cm = 170 rows (62,5 cm = 172 rows) 62,5 cm = 172 rows from the set-up row, bind off the rest 40 (43) 48 sts.

Front

Make in the same way, as back, but with deeper neck-hole. For this, in 52,5 cm = 144 rows from the set-up row, bind off the central 5 sts and make chamfers in the same way, as back.

Sleeves

Cast on 53 (59) 65 sts and work with rib. For sleeve chamfers, increase 18 x 1 st in every 6th row from both sides, include the increased sts in the pattern = 89 (95) 101 sts. In 42 cm = 116 rows from the set-up row, bind off all the sts.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams; sew up the sleeves, make side and sleeve seams.
