At the same time with beginning of arm-hole chamfers, bind off the central st for the neck-hole and finish both sides separately, making 3 edging sts from both sides as double rib and decrease 5 x 2 sts, 12 x 1 st in every 2nd row from both sides of the center after double rib sts. In 50 cm from the set-up row, make double rib on the rest 6 sts from both sides. Decrease 3 x 1 st in every 2nd row, then, make 28 cm of double rib for straps and double the quantity of sts for pompoms (6 sts from each side). Make 10 rows of double rib, insert the stuffing inside pompom and bind off with kitchener’s stitch.
