You’ll Need

550 (600) 650g of yellow Bingo yarn (100% cotton; 125m/50g);

Knitting needles 3 and 4;

Circular knitting needles 4;

Crochet hook 3.5.

Rib Pattern

2 x 2 rib;

Relief Pattern

Work according to the scheme, on which only RS rows are stated. Make WS rows and yarn overs as purls.

Start with 1 selvage st and sts before the pattern repeat, then the pattern repeat, and finish with sts after the pattern repeat and 1 selvage st. Repeat rows 1st-16th.

Stockinette Stitch

In RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls, in circle row – knit sts;

Fringe

1st row: single crochets;

2nd row: 1 chain st increase, 1 single crochet, * skip 2 sts, 5 double crochet in 1 base st, skip 2 sts, 1 single crochet*; repeat from * to *, skip 2 sts, 5 double crochet in 1 base st, 1 slip st in chain st increase.

Stitches Control

Relief pattern: 20.5 sts x 34 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Stockinette stitch: 19 sts x 29.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back and Front

Cast on 134 (142) 150 sts with knitting needles 3 and work with rib between selvage sts. In 10 cm from the set-up row, change to knitting needles 4 and work with relief pattern, decrease 15 sts in the 1st row = 119 (127) 135 sts. In 52 cm from rib, leave all the sts.

Sleeves

Cast on 68 (76) 84 sts with knitting needles 3 and work with rib between selvage sts. In 5 cm from the set-up row, change to knitting needles 4 and work with relief pattern, decrease 5 sts in the 1st row = 63 (71) 79 sts. In 9.5 cm from rib, leave all the sts.

Assembly

Transfer the previously left 364 (396) 428 sts of front, back, and sleeves to the circular knitting needles for yoke, starting with the back. Work with stockinette stitch in circle rows, marking the transitions from front and back to sleeves. At the same time, decrease 39 sts in the 1st row of front and back, and 3 sts of each sleeve = 280 (312) 344 sts. Then, decrease evenly 21 (24) 27 x 8 sts in every 2nd row for raglan chamfers in the following way: after marker * 3 sts of stockinette stitch, 1 broaching, stockinette stitch to the last 5 sts before marker, knit 2 together, 3 sts of stockinette stitch*; repeat from * to *. In 15 (17) 19 cm from the beginning of yoke, bind off the remaining 112 (120) 128 sts. Make side and sleeve seams. Fasten the neck-hole with circle rows of fringe using the crochet hook.
