Crochet Bra Making Guide

You’ll Need:

200g of white Cadiz Unito yarn (51% cotton, 33% polyacryl, 16% viscose; 90m/50g);

100g of the same yarn, but in beige color;

Crochet hook 5.

Note:

At first, make the whole bra part across. Then, make straps and the bottom part.

Used Patterns

Wavy Pattern

The quantity of sts is a multiple of 12 + 9 + 5 chain sts increase.

Stitches Control

12 double crochets x 7 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Wavy pattern: 10.5 sts x 5.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Bra

Make 21 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase with beige yarn and work with double crochets. Start each row with 3 chain sts increase instead of the 1^st double crochet. In 81 cm = 57 rows from the set-up row, finish your work. Twist your bra (WS face in the 2^nd half) and sew it in the ring (seam in the middle of the back).

Lower Part of Back

Work with the wavy pattern along the left side of the bra with white yarn, making 57 double crochets in RS row A. In 29 cm = 16 rows from the bra, finish your work.

Lower Part of Front

Make in the same way as the lower part of the back, but make RS row A in the following way: join the yarn near the last double crochet on the lower part of the back to the same double crochet of the bra, 3 chain sts increase, 1 double crochet in the same double crochet, 2 double crochets in the next 11 double crochets, skip the middle of the front with the help of 9 chain sts, 2 double crochets in the next 11 double crochets, 2 double crochets in the double crochet of the bra = 57 double crochets.

Straps

Crochet on 5 double crochets along the upper edge of the bra with white yarn in the following way: 3 chain sts increase, 2 double crochets in 1 base st, 1 double crochet, 2 double crochets in 1 base st of 1 double crochet = 7 double crochets. Then, make 30 cm = 21 rows with double crochets and finish your work.

Assembly

Sew straps to the back. Make side seams of the lower part.
