Quantity of Stitches

The quantity of stitches is a multiple of 12 + 6.

Base Instructions

Base: Make 3 double crochets in 1 stitch, and make 2 chain stitches between the 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd double crochets.

Scale Instructions

Scale: 1 double crochet in the double crochet of the base, 3 double crochets in the arch of 2 chain stitches of the base, 1 double crochet in the next base crochet, 3 double crochets in the arch of 2 chain stitches of the base, 1 double crochet in the next base crochet, 3 double crochets in the arch of 2 chain stitches of the base, and 1 double crochet in the base crochet.

Row Instructions

1^st Row (Red Yarn)

1 double crochet in the 6^th stitch from the crochet hook, 2 chain stitches, 1 double crochet in the same stitch, * skip 3 chain stitches, 5 single crochets, skip 3 chain stitches, make base*, skip 3 chain stitches, 5 single crochets, skip 3 chain stitches, 1 double crochet in the selvedge stitch of the previous row, 2 chain stitches, 1 double crochet in the same stitch;

2^nd Row (Red Yarn)

2 chain stitches increase, 3 double crochets in the arch of chain stitches of the lower row, 1 double crochet in the double crochet of the lower row, * 3 single crochets in the stitches of the 3 central single crochets out of 5 single crochets of the lower row, make scale*, 3 single crochets in the 3 central single crochets out of 5 of the lower row, 1 double crochet in the double crochet of the lower row, 3 double crochets in the arch of 2 chain stitches, 1 double crochet in the double crochet of the lower row;

3^rd Row (White Yarn)
