Right Side Relief Crochet

To begin, insert the crochet hook under the double crochet of the previous row in front of the work, from the right side.

Instructions

1st row: Make 40 chain stitches with blue yarn.

Starting from the 2nd stitch from the crochet hook, single crochet in every stitch, and turn = 39 single crochets;

2nd row: 1 chain stitch, single crochet in every stitch to the end of the row. Don’t turn, continue crocheting around: 1 single crochet from one side of the previous row, 39 single crochets from the other side, 1 single crochet, and slip stitch in the 1st single crochet = 80 single crochets;

Then, continue working without turns, starting each row with chain stitch increase and finishing with slip stitch.

3rd-4th rows: 2 chain stitches, double crochet in every stitch = 80 double crochets;

5th row: 2 chain stitches, * right side relief crochet, single crochet *; repeat from * to * x 40 times = 80 double crochets;

6th row: 1 chain stitch, single crochets in every stitch = 80 single crochets;

7th row: 2 chain stitches, * single crochet, right side relief crochet *; repeat from * to * x 40 times = 80 crochets;

8th row: 1 chain stitch, single crochets in every stitch = 80 single crochets;

9th-12th rows: Repeat 5th-8th rows with olive yarn;

13th-16th rows: Repeat 5th-8th rows with yellow yarn;

17th-20th rows: Repeat 5th-8th rows with coral yarn;

21st-24th rows: Repeat 5th-8th rows with crimson yarn;

25th-26th rows: 1 chain stitch, single crochets to the end of the row = 80 single crochets.

Finally, fasten and cut the yarn.

Join the zipper to the 26th row.
