Crochet Patterns for a Stylish Outfit


You’ll Need
5 (6) skeins of grey and beige yarn and 4 (5) skeins of ecru and brown yarn Micro (100% polyacryl; 170m/50g);
Crochet hook 3 and 3.5 mm.

Square
Make 6 chain stitches and circle them in a ring by means of slip stitch. Work according to Scheme 1 with circular rows. Start each row with a chain stitch increase according to the scheme and finish with 1 slip stitch in the chain stitch increase.
Make the 1st-4th rows once.Stripes Order
- 1: 1 circular row with beige yarn, then grey, brown, and ecru.
- 2: 1 circular row with grey yarn, beige, ecru, and brown.
- 3: 1 circular row with ecru yarn, brown, beige, and grey.
- 4: 1 circular row with brown yarn, ecru, grey, and beige.
Pattern with Holes
The number of stitches must be odd.
1st row: 3 chain stitches increase instead of the 1st double crochet, then *1 chain stitch, skip 1 stitch, 1 double crochet*; repeat from * to *;
2nd row: 3 chain stitches increase, 1 double crochet in every chain stitch and every double crochet of the previous row.
Repeat the 1st-2nd rows.
Combine the Patterns
The number of stitches is multiplied by 11.
Work according to Scheme 2 on the edge of square motifs. Start with stitches before pattern repeat, follow the pattern repeat, and finish with stitches after pattern repeat.
Make the 1st-7th rows once, then the 3rd-7th rows once, then the 8th-17th rows once, 14th-16th rows once, and the 2nd-6th rows once = 30 rows, finishing the pattern with holes.
Fringe
The number of stitches is multiplied by 11 + 2.
Work according to Scheme 3 on the last row of the patterns combination. Start with stitches before pattern repeat, follow the pattern repeat, and finish with stitches after pattern repeat. Make the 1st-9th rows once.
Stripes Order in Patterns Combination
- 1: 2 rows with grey yarn, 3 rows with brown yarn, 2 rows of grey yarn, 3 rows of ecru yarn, 8 rows of beige yarn, 1 row of brown yarn, 1 row of grey yarn, 1 row of ecru yarn, 1 row of beige yarn, 1 row of grey yarn, 1 row of brown yarn, 1 row of ecru yarn.
- 2: 2 rows of brown yarn, 3 rows of grey yarn, 2 rows of brown yarn, 3 rows of ecru yarn, 5 rows of beige yarn = 15 rows.
Stitches Control
Patterns combination 1st-30th rows: 20.5 (19.5) stitches x 10.5 (10) rows;
Pattern with holes: 11.5 (11) rows;
Square: 6.5 x 6.5 (7 x 7) cm;
Fringe: 9 rows = 8.5 (9) cm.
Instructions
Back
Make 3 squares according to stripes order 1, 2, 3, 4. Connect all the details in the places marked with arrows on the scheme by means of slip stitch, starting from the 2nd square in one-piece cloth of 2 x 6 square motifs.
Fasten 1 transversal side of squares with stripes order 1 in patterns combination for the upper part, fastening the elements in the 1st row with 16 or 17 treble crochets = 99 stitches.
After 13 (13.5) cm from the square motifs = 14 rows, leave 2 cm without crocheting from both sides for armholes and 2 x 1, 1 x 0.5 cm in every next row for smooth rounding.
After 32.5 (33.5) cm = 34 rows, leave the central 21 cm without crocheting for the neck-hole and finish both parts separately. Leave 2 x 1 cm without crocheting in every row along the inner side for smooth rounding. Finish work on working stitches of shoulders after 35.5 (36.5) cm from squares.
For the bottom part, fasten the opposite side of squares with patterns combination, making stripes order 2, and make the 1st row as it’s described for the upper part.
After 14.5 (15) cm = 15 rows, make 1 cm = 1 row of 122 double crochets with beige yarn, finishing with 8.5 cm = 9 rows of fringe with grey yarn.
Front
Make in the same way as back, but with a deeper neck-hole. After 25 (26) cm = 26 rows from the squares, leave the central 13 cm without crocheting and leave 2 x 2 and 2 x 1 cm in every row without crocheting. Finish work at the height of the back.
Sleeves
Make 1 square for each sleeve with stripes order 1, 2, 3, 4. Connect all the details in the places marked with arrows on the scheme by means of slip stitch, starting from the 2nd square. Fasten the upper part of the sleeve with stripes order 1 in patterns combination, fastening the elements in the 1st row with 16 or 17 treble crochets = 66 stitches.
For chamfers, increase 6 x 1 cm from both sides in every 2nd row, including the increased stitches.
After 13 (14) cm = 14 rows from the square motifs, leave 2 cm without crocheting from both sides for the sleeve cap and then 10 x 1 cm in every row.
After 25 (26) cm = 26 rows from the squares, finish work on the remaining stitches.
For the bottom part of the sleeve, fasten the opposite side of square elements with pattern combination and stripes order 2, make the 1st row and increases, as described for the upper part of the sleeve.
After 14.5 (15) cm = 15 rows from the square motifs, make 1 cm = 1 row of 78 double crochets with beige yarn and 4.5 (5) cm = 5 rows of fringe with grey yarn. Finish your work, fastening it with 1 row as it is described for the 9th row.
Assembly
Sew the right shoulder, fasten the neck-hole with brown yarn using 1 row of single crochets and the 3rd-5th row of Scheme 2, making double crochets instead of single crochets in the edging row. Sew your work and sleeves.
