Stitches Control:
Rows with holes: 14 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
Stockinette stitch: 14 sts x 23 rows = 10 x 10 cm;
Relief pattern: 14.5 sts x 23 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Back:
Cast on 76 sts and work according to the described scheme. After 19 cm = 44 rows from the relief pattern, decrease 3 sts from both sides for the armholes, then, 2 sts x 1 in every even row, 1 st x 2 = 65 sts or after finishing the relief pattern – 62 sts.
In 15 cm = 42 rows = 2 rows with holes, bind off 7 sts x 1 in every even row, 6 sts x 2 in every even row.
Bind off the central 12 sts and finish each part separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 6 sts in every 2nd row of each part.
In 2 cm = 4 rows of stockinette stitch, bind off the rest of the sts.
Left Front:
Cast on 38 sts and work according to the described scheme. Decrease the sts for shoulder chamfer, as it was described for the back.
At the same time, in 62 cm = 160 rows from the relief pattern finishing, decrease 1 st from the left side for the neck-hole, then, 1 st x 11 in every 4th row. For decreases, knit the 3rd and 2nd sts from the end together.
Right Front:
Make in reflection to the left front. For decreases: knit the 2nd and 3rd sts together as broaching – slip 1 st as knit st, 1 knit st, draw it through the slipped.
Sleeves:
Cast on 34 sts and work according to the previously described scheme. For chamfers, increase 1 st x 12 in every 10th row from both sides = 58 sts. Include the increased sts in the ornament.
After knitting 48 cm = 126 rows from the 1st row, decrease 3 sts from both sides for the sleeve cap, 2 sts x 1 in every 2nd row, 1 st x 4, 2 sts x 2, 3 sts x 1, 6 sts x 1. In 57 cm = 146 rows, bind off the rest 14 sts.
Assembly:
Make shoulder, sleeve and side seams. Fasten all the edges with lace placket using S yarn.
