You’ll need:

300; 350; 350g of yarn (78% acetate, 12% polyester, 10% polyamide; 150m/50g);

Knitting needles 3,5;

Crochet hook 1,75.

Size: XS; S; M.

Used Patterns

Stockinette stitch: in right-side row – knit sts, in wrong-side row – purls;

Relief pattern: the quantity of sts is multipled 12 + 2 selvedge sts due to the scheme (all the rows are stated). Horizontal pattern repeat = 12 sts, vertical pattern repeat = 8 rows.

Stitches control: 23 sts x 31 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 106; 116; 126 sts and work with stockinette stitch straight to 5 cm height (= 16 rows). Decrease 1 st from both sides for waist narrowing in the next row.

Then, make decrease, knitting the 3rd and 4th sts in 1 purl after the selvedge st in the beginning and the 4th and 3rd sts before selvedge st in the end of row. Repeat decreases 4 times every 6th row. You should get 96; 106; 116 sts.

After 19,5 cm (= 60 rows) from the set-up row, increase 1 st from both sides.

For this, make 1 cross st after the first 3 sts and in the end before the last 3 sts. Repeat the increases 4 times in every 10th row. You should get 100; 116; 126 sts.

For arm-holes rounding, after 38 cm (= 118 rows) of the total height, bind off 4 sts from both sides, then, bind off 2 sts x 4 in every 2nd row, 1 st x 1. There are 80; 90; 100 sts left.

For shoulder chamfers, after 56; 58; 60 cm (= 174; 180; 186 rows) from the beginning of work, bind off 8; 9; 10 sts from both sides, then 8; 9; 10 sts in all even rows.

At total length 57,5; 59,5; 61,5 cm (=178; 184; 190 rows) bind off 48; 54; 60 sts on the knitting needles.

Front

Make in the same way, as back, but with deeper neck-hole. For this, after knitting 42; 44; 46 cm (= 130; 136; 142 rows), make increases of 1 knit st from both sides. Make them out of broaching after the first 3 sts and before the last 3 sts in the end of row. Repeat the increases every 2nd row x 19; 20; 21 times. Totally, 120; 132; 144 sts are in work.

For shoulder chamfers, after 56; 58; 60 cm (= 174; 180; 186 rows) from the beginning of work, bind off 8; 9; 10 sts from both sides, then bind off 8; 9; 19 sts in every 2nd row.

Bind off the rest 88; 96; 104 sts at the height of back due to the following description: *knit2tog, transfer it to the left-hand needle*; repeat from * to * to end of row.

Sleeves

Cast on 38-50-50 sts and make 1 wrong side row of purls. Don’t take into this row into calculations.

Then, work with relief pattern, increasing 1 st x 13 in every 10th row, 1 st x 9 in every 12th row, 1 st x 3 in every 8th row, 1 st x 3 in every 10th row, 1 st x 13 in every 8th row. You should get 64; 74; 82 sts.

For the cap line, bind off 4 sts from both sides at 46 cm (= 142 rows), then 2 sts x 2 in every even row and 1 st x 10, 2 sts x 3.

Bind off the rest 16; 26; 34 sts at total height of 56 cm (= 174 rows).

Assembly

Sew up the shoulder seams. Sew the sleeves. Make side and sleeve seams. Fasten the neck-hole with 1 row of single crochets.
