Knitting Instructions for a Lace Pattern Garment


You’ll Need:
350 - 400g of 100% cotton yarn (105m/50g);
Knitting needles size 6.
Used Patterns
Lace pattern: The quantity of stitches is multiplied 16 + 3 + 2 selvedge stitches. Work according to the scheme.
In wrong-side rows make all the stitches and yarn overs as purls. Start with 1 selvedge stitch, pattern repeat, finish with stitch after pattern repeat, 1 selvedge stitch.
Repeat the 1st-10th rows.Stitches Control
After laddering: 14.5 stitches x 19.5 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Make 2 identical details.
Back/Front
Cast on 69 - 85 stitches and make 1 wrong-side row with purls. Don’t include this row in your calculations.
Continue work with lace pattern. In 132 rows (68 cm) from the bottom part, bind off the stitches. Loosen the stitches according to the scheme, cast on 4 new stitches instead of them. Bind off these 4 stitches.
Assembly
Sew up the shoulders from both sides at 12 - 16.5 cm. Leave the central 24 - 26 stitches for the neck-hole. Sew up the sides. Leave the upper 19 - 20 cm for arm-holes.
