You’ll Need

450; 500; 550 g of yarn (94% viscose, 6% polyester; 115m/50g);

Crochet hooks 4 and 5.

Size: S; M; L.

Used Patterns

Flower

Make 24 chain stitches and circle them in a ring with 1 slip stitch. Crochet around the big motif following scheme 1. Start the row with 4 chain stitches instead of the 1st treble crochet and finish with 1 slip stitch in the 4th initial chain stitch.

Make one circle row.

Square

Make in the same way as the flower, but the initial chain should consist of 12 chain stitches. Complete the small motif according to scheme 1.

Main Pattern

The quantity of stitches should be odd. Work according to scheme 2. Start with stitches before the pattern repeat, repeat the pattern the needed times, and finish with stitches after the pattern repeat. Complete the 1st-3rd rows once, then repeat the 2nd and 3rd rows.

Stitches Control

Flower with crochet hook 4 = 7 x 7 cm;

Flower with crochet hook 5 = 8 x 8 cm;

Square with crochet hook 4 = 2.5 x 2.5 cm;

Square with crochet hook 5 = 3 x 3 cm;

Main pattern with crochet hook 5: 15.5 stitches x 9 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Make the yoke of the back and front as separate details; the rest of the cloth is crocheted around. Create 1 flower and 1 square in turn. Beginning with the 2nd motif, connect the elements to one another using slip stitch.

Make 117; 126; 135 flowers and 104; 112; 120 squares. Connect 13; 14; 15 flowers and squares in each row. Complete 9 circle rows of flowers and 8 circle rows of squares in height. Work with the motifs of the 7th and 8th rows using crochet hook 4; the rest should be done with crochet hook 5.

Assembly

Place the details of the dress on the pattern design, aligning the side lines.

Yoke of Back

Work with the main pattern between the side lines, creating the central 44; 48; 52 cm with crochet hook 5. Complete 73; 79; 86 double crochets in the 1st row. When your yoke measures 10 cm in height (9 rows), skip the central 39; 45; 52 stitches for the neck hole. Finish each part separately.

Finish the shoulders of 17 stitches as follows:

  • For S size: 14 rows = 15.5 cm;
  • For M size: 16 rows = 18 cm;
  • For L size: 18 rows = 20 cm.

Make the front yoke in the same manner.

Sew up the shoulder seams.

Fasten armholes with 1 circle row of single crochets.
