How to Add Lace Trim to Your Pullover

You'll Need:
Pullover;
Lace with ruffled border or lace ribbon;
Dress-making scissors;
Needle;
Threads;
Pins.
Instructions
Cut a strip of lace with a length equal to the width of the pullover on the bottom. The width should equal the height of the scallops plus the allowance corresponding to the hem of the pullover.
The width of the lace strip can be any; it all depends on your desire.
With tailor's pins, pin a strip of lace to the hem of the pullover.
Stitch the lace strip exactly into the hem of the bottom of the pullover.
Lap the side seam of the lace strip and sew it to the hem of the pullover manually, leaving a small incision open.
If you want to make the strip “closed”, without a cut, cut the lace strip considering the superposition of patterns in short sections. Then, manually sew the lace strip in the area of the side seam exactly along the edges of the pattern on both sides.
Use lace that matches the tone of the item to be decorated, or choose contrasting colors for an interesting look.
