How to Crochet a Beautiful Rose and Leaf

The scheme of such rose is very simple and consists of one row.

Make 11 chain sts + 3 chain sts increase ( = 1 double crochet), 4 double crochets in the 4th st from the crochet hook. Totaly, 5 double crochets. Slip st in the next st.

Repeat 4 times, finish with 5 double crochets - (5 double crochets in 1 st, slip st) x 4 times, 5 double crochets in the last st.

Swirl your work in the shape of rose and sew.

If you want, you can add a leaf to your rose.

Creating the Leaf

Make 7 chain sts + 1 chain st. Start work from the 2nd st of the crochet hook - 7 single crochets. 2 single crochets in the last st of chain.

Then, fasten the central vein from both sides:

• 1 half double crochet,
• 3 double crochets,
• 1 half double crochet,
• 1 single crochet,
• 1 chain st,

Turn to making the second part of your leaf:

• 1 single crochet,
• 1 half double crochet,
• 3 double crochets,
• 1 half double crochet,
• 1 single crochet,
• 1 chain st,
• slip st.

Cut the yarn - weave the end or attach the rose with its help.
